But if I had to choose one book it would probably be The Success Equation. There are lot of reviews of this book, all of them glowingly positive.   This book provides learners with the opportunity to develop an understanding of advancements of special functions and the skills needed to apply advanced mathematical techniques to solve complex differential equations and Partial Differential Equations (PDEs).

Michael J. Mauboussin is Chief Investment Strategist at Legg Mason Capital Management. He is a former president of the Consumer Analyst Group of New York and was repeatedly named to Institutional Investor's All-America Research Team.
